Alejandro de las Fuentes

Alejandro de las Fuentes is a BA student in the English Department at UNAM, where he has just finished writing his BA dissertation on The Infinities by John Banville. He was a member of the supporting committee of Joyce Without Borders: North American James Joyce Symposium 2019. He took part in the seminar Balancing Acts: Contemporary American Poetry, taught by Professor Catherine Bowman from Indiana University. He holds a Teacher’s Diploma and has taught English as a second language for more than eight years. He is a translator of both academic and creative writing and carried out his social service at the Modern Language and Literature Department Office. His academic interests include postmodern and contemporary Anglo-Irish literature.
