Hana Farniková

Hana Farniková (*1996) is an MA student of English Literature at the Department of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures, Charles University in Prague. Her BA thesis analysed the role of physiognomy in the doppelganger literature of the 19th century. In her current research, she focuses on the portrayal of the New Woman cultural ideal in the Victorian Gothic stories. Throughout her study, she has been taking interest in literary translation from English to Czech.
