Ms. Ankita Singh is an Assistant Professor at the Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce in Pune, India. She teaches Cinema and Literature, British Literature, Indian Writing in English, Gender and Literature, amongst other courses. She is a guest faculty at other reputed institutions like Savitribai Phule Pune University, FLAME University, and Symbiosis School of Liberal Arts. She has done her Bachelors and Masters in English Literature and she was awarded Gold Medal from Pune University for the latter. She was also awarded a special award for meritorious performance in the subject Hindi, which was a Minor subject in her graduation. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Women’s Studies. Ankita is a bilingual writer, she writes in Hindi and English and co-manages a multilingual Poetry Community called Baithak and Beyond at Pune.
