Li Chen is professor of English and Vice-Director for the Irish Studies Center at School of English and International Studies, Beijing Foreign Studies University. Her academic interest lies mainly in twentieth-century Irish and British novels.
She was Fulbright visiting scholar to Boston College (2017-2018) and has finished two projects funded by China’s National Social Science Foundation beside publishing widely on the said field. Her recent publications include Self Fashioning in Irish Literary Renaissance (published in Chinese in 2016) and “Irish Literature in China” (Éire-Ireland, 2018).
