Kartini Anwar is a lecturer in the Malay Language Division of the Asian Languages & Cultures Academic Group, National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU). She teaches subjects on Malay literature such as Classical and Modern Literature, Indonesian Literature, Children’s and Adolescent’s Literature, Literary Criticism, Dramatization of Literary Texts, The Teaching of Literature. She presented a number of academic papers at regional and international conferences. Kartini is also involved in academic and literary editorial works and judging panels of a number of literary awards.
