
Carolina Ulloa
Carolina Ulloa obtained, with honours, a BA in English from UNAM. She defended a dissertation on former British Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy’s collection Rapture (2005). She has been a Teaching Assistant at the Modern Languages Department in the aforementioned institution, as well as a grantee in the Project “Contemporary Anglo-Irish Literature from the XX and XXI Centuries” (http://literatura-angloirlandesa.filos.unam.mx/). Ulloa is mainly interested in gender studies, especially in representations of the female body, and Anglo-Irish contemporary fiction. Now a student in the Modern Languages Postgraduate Programme, she is currently writing a dissertation on Eimear McBride’s novels.
