Anna Slatinská, PhD., has been teaching at the Faculty of Arts (Department of English and American Studies) since completing her doctoral study (2015) and thesis focused on Irish language revitalization in the Republic of Ireland. She is the author of several articles and monographs dealing with language, culture, identity and their application in teaching process. She is also in charge of English language teaching practice and cooperates with selected primary and secondary school institutions in the city of Banská Bystrica. She teaches the following subjects: Methodology of Teaching English, Continuous Teaching Practice, ELT to Preschoolers, Syntax, Morphology, Irish studies, etc. Anna is also a member of Erasmus+ project Cherished: Supporting school-educators in use of cultural heritage for inclusive digital education and national KEGA project focused on global skills. Since 2016 she has been responsible for the Irish studies and Irish language teaching at Faculty of Arts in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia.
