Udita Banerjee is a PhD student in the department of Humanities and Social Sciences at The Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar. She has completed her M.Phil from the Department of English and Culture Studies, University of Burdwan. Her research interests include Postcolonial Literature(s) and Border Studies. She has published articles in Muse India and Trivium and presented papers in National and International seminars including “Kalapani Crossings: India in Conversation” and “Decolonising the Panel, Deconstructing the Gutter”. Her recent publications include a book chapter in Kalapani Crossings: Revisiting 19th Century Migrations from India’s Perspective (2021), published by Routledge.
