Shlomi Efrati got his BA and MA degrees at the department of Talmud and Halakhah in the Hebrew University. For his postdoctoral project he  joined the Scripta Qumranica Electronica project in 2019, preparing a new edition of the Qumran wisdom composition Instruction. From 2020 he participates in the ERC project ‘TEXTEVOLVE’ for the study of manuscripts of Targum (Jewish Aramaic translations of the Bible) at KU Leuven, where he focuses on the textual tradition of Onqelos and its relation to other Targums to the Pentateuch.

Mohammadreza Hassanzadeh Javanian holds a PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of Tehran, Iran. He is a postdoctoral researcher at Freie Universität Berlin. His main research interests include Early Modern English Drama, global adaptations of Shakespeare comparative literature and literary translation. Recently, he has concentrated on Shakespeare’s adaptations in Iran and their position within the country’s social, cultural, and political contexts.

‘Ōkusitino Māhina is  Professor of Tongan Philosophy, Historical Anthropology, and Aesthetics, Vav‘au Academy for Critical Inquiry and Applied Research, Vava‘u Lahi, Kingdom of Tonga. He is a registered interpreter and translator with both Tongan and English languages, working with government and non-government organisations globally. He translated and wrote many books and journal articles in both English and Tongan.

Tēvita ‘O. Ka‘ili is a descendant of Moana Nui ancestors Tangaloa, Māui, and Hina. He is the co-author of the Tongan language book Ko e Ngaahi ʻAta mei he Hisitōlia mo e Kalatua ʻo Tongá: Ke Tufungaʻi Ha Lea Tonga Fakaako (Images from the History and Culture of Tonga: Towards Creating a Tongan Academic Language). He is also the author of the ethnographic book Marking Indigeneity: The Tongan Art of Sociospatial Relations. Tēvita has co-authored and translated several bilingual (Tongan-English) childrenʼs books.

Barbora Vincezová, PhD. is a teacher and a researcher at Matej Bel University. She majored in translation studies and during her doctoral studies she had been researching CAT tools. She has published articles on translation criticism, comparative literature and cultural studies. She is an active translator and is very interested in phenomena relating to the differences between languages and cultures. She has been involved in several national (Slovak) projects.

Rawitawan Sophonpanich is a lecturer in English literature at the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University in Thailand. She received her MA in Comparative Literature from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne and a PhD in English from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. She specializes in medieval and early modern European literature. She is currently translating Dante’s Commedia from Italian to Thai and is writing a research based on Commedia and the ruinous world.

Ming just completed his PhD study in English Literature from the University of Sheffield. He is now teaching Literary Translation at Thammasat University, Thailand. He also used to translate for Thai theatres. He organised a Shakespeare dramatic event "Love, indeed", in which he translated excerpts of four Shakespeare plays: Antony and Cleopatra, All's Well that Ends Well, The Winter's Tale, and Othello. He aims to translate more English early modern plays in the future.
