Joakim Wrethed, born in 1968 and living in Stockholm. He is assistant professor [Docent] at the English Department, Stockholm University. Within literary studies he has done work in the areas phenomenology, postmodernism, aesthetics and theology. He has published extensively on John Banville. Some of the more recent publications have been on Irish Literature as World Literature (on Banville, Joyce, Yeats and Beckett), The Postmodern Gothic, The Irish Gothic in Charles Maturin, John Williams, and Tom McCarthy.

Pilar Villar-Argáiz is a Senior Lecturer of British and Irish Literatures in the Department of English at the University of Granada and the General Editor of the major series “Studies in Irish Literature, Cinema and Culture” in Edward Everett Root Publishers. She is the author of the books Eavan Boland’s Evolution as an Irish Woman Poet: An Outsider within an Outsider’s Culture (Edwin Mellen Press, 2007) and The Poetry of Eavan Boland: A Postcolonial Reading (Academica Press, 2008).

She has published scientific papers in these fields and her academic activities include evaluation of literary translations, creative writing pieces, films and scripts. Her publications include articles on Toni Morrison, Djanet Sears, and August Wilson, interviews with Marina Carr and Peter Sellars, and Italian translations of works by Marina Carr, Morris Panych, Netta Syrett and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Loredana Salis (MA, PhD) is Associate Professor of English Literature at the University of Sassari. Her research interests include 19th century gender(ed) narratives, exile narratives and adaptations of the canon. She has published monographs on uses of myth (2009) and stage representations of the migrant other (2010) in contemporary Irish literature, and articles on Gaskell, H. Martineau, Dickens, G. Eliot, E. O’Brien, Carr, F. McGuinness, Morrissy, and Heaney. She has translated Dickens’ theatre (2013) and W. B. Yeats’ prose (2015).

Diana Çuli is an Albanian writer, journalist and translator. She is the author of twelve novels, two short story collections and two plays. She has translated into Albanian work by Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Umberto Eco, Thomas Hardy, Raymond Carver, etc. Many of her novels have been adapted for the screen and translated into Italian, Macedonian and Chinese. She has been awarded several literary prizes and has received national and international recognition for her work as a writer and translator.
